April / May Update

is for snow :) In April we took off to the US East Coast for a bit of an explore. We arrived in JFK airport, then picked up a 'pimp my ride' rental car. Using TomTom (aka dumb bitch) we attempted to drive out of New York and make our way up to Providence RI. It was an interesting and somewhat stressful drive as the dumb bitch took us through some interesting New York neighbourhoods. We arrived at Providence after 6 hours on the road, had a spot of dinner then went straight to bed - it had been a very long day. Next morning Manu and Ala went for a run outside the hotel where there was a park, then we found the local iHop. Drove for 1 hour from Providence to Boston city centre and out of sheer luck managed to park the car right across the road from the headquarters of a city tour bus company - wicked ! we had a great day sightseeing around the beautiful city of Boston and managed to stop off at Cheers for a beer. After we'd had our fill of Boston we hopped in the car and drove an hour to Springfield, MA. That was another fleeting visit, we basically just saw the hotel and then travelled on the next day. Unfortunately Bart and Lisa weren't prominent in the area. Next stop Buffalo, NY which was a 6 hour drive. We managed to break up the long drive with a brief stop at the Waterloo Outlet Mall (how did that happen ?!)
