Feb 2005 update

hey you crazy kids!!
We just got back from a weekend in Santa Cruz (south of San Francisco) - drove down Saturday morning and had a surfing lesson that afternoon and had a great time (completely subsidised by the work surfing club we joined as only a few of us turned up). We both have very sore arms today - being majorly unfit may have something to do with that but can't be certain :)

Took a drive back along the coast today, bits of it are reminiscent of The Great Ocean Road (Victoria Australia) - although not quite as good. Then across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito - and that reminds us of both Wellington (NZ) and Williamstown (Melbourne AU). Planning on going back to see some more next weekend - possibly a ferry trip over and back with some brunch and chardonay in between :)

Manu is very keen to keep surfing so will keep you posted.

Manu has been killing himself a little the past few weeks with some proposal work - not the right thing to do he knows, however he needs to become more visible at least till he gets on a project.

Life here is ok.........as mentioned above Manu is still not on a project and getting more and more the feeling that consulting (or at least CRM package consulting) is not where he wants to be. He is thinking of investigating the TI (Technology Integration) area at his work - hopefully where he might be able to do more of what he enjoys.....

We are still waiting for Anita's EAD (work visa) to be approved - looks like mid-April at the moment. She has starting looking for work though, in order to get the feel for how things work here.

Anyways, we're off to return the rental car, have dinner and go to the movies - Constantine.
